    Interlude - Chapter 2-3

Between Chapters 2 and 3, our team thinks they are going to get some well deserved R&R - but it turns out a little different to start with!

    Chapter 2 - GM's Version - Part 3

Once the team made it onto the highway Von is hard at work in the back of the car examining the cases recently lifted from the back of the Bulldog van. The approaching Lone Star officers are spotted in the rear-view mirror, but the turn down the ramp to the actual crime scene while the Land Rover blends into the highway traffic.
It is not long for drawing a sigh of relief before the next problem hits the team. Von, having cracked the maglock on one of the six transport casings realises that is holds a tracking signal. Simply getting into the first case was a matter for first carefully removing the security casing around the lock without triggering the anti-tampering devices in the cases, and then a matter of looping the circuitry on the maglock board - all in a a moving car with only a flash light to work with.

    Chapter 2 - GM's Version - Part 2

So, the team picks up the trail of the black SUV leaving the Deacon's compound. Holding off on releasing the trap pays off when it turns out that the car is heading south - away from SeaTac where the decks are due to be delivered in the morning.

    Grunge's Journal Pt 2.

Grunge shields his eyes from an intense light coming from somewhere off camera. "Frag Cecil, does it haf'ta be so bright? Turn it down!" The light dims a little and Grunge lowers his hand. "That’s better, so you just want me to talk about the job? Easy enough..." Grunge appears to be relaxing in one of the private booths at Battler's Bar, the sounds of music, laughter, and Baby Jones's Trid-shows trickle in from the background, he takes a long pull from a half-empty mug of beer, wipes his chin with his sleeve and stares into the camera a moment, gathering his thoughts.

    Chapter 2 - GM's Version - Part 1

In Chapter 2 - Special Delivery - we see mad gang fighting, a heist of cyberdecks, unexpected combat in area, a meetup with a techie in a posh park, and a run for the money back home to Derbytown.

The team is brough in very shortly after taking out Fat Charlie in the first run.
This is the first introduction of King Diamond aka KD to the whole team. KD runs the Electronics emporium in Derbytown, but also has his fingers in money lending, and just keeps a few too many guards around to be your general electronics store.

    Chapter 1 - GM's Version + Evaluation

This is a compressed version of the storyline for chapter 1 for thise wishing a brief overview, without the full details, which can be read on the mailing list also.

    Chapter 1 - Grunge's Journal

Woke up today and the doc says I'm good to go, I still got a massive headache but I
dont wanna overstay my welcome, 'sides the place has a weird smell and hospitals
have always creeped me out. As soon as I set foot outside, there's Max waiting for
me in a spankin' new LandRover. He's done right by me so far and he seems alright.

    Chapter 1 - Von's experiences

After leaving the boring old slums of my hometown, I decided to come to live in the shadows here in humble ol' Derbytown. Not all the flash and drek of those wiz trids I used to sneak into as a kid, but whaddya expect? Is every Shadowrunner's life gonna be like it is in the movies? Heck no. I was told to go to this Pete character, and as smelly and crusty as he is, I've learned one thing: never underestimate the power of your contacts, cuz no matter how full of drek you think they are, they can keep that nuyen coming to you and help fetch you some really wiz gear.
